When I think of Joey, the first thing I think of was the time he helped me sand-blast a 1933 3-window coupe I purchased. We both did it in his back yard in an old garage that used to stand on the property on 220 Main St, Berlin. A long, long, long time ago.
He was fond of playing pool, as I am, and some time ago, maybe 2-3 years, I ran into him up at Big Shots in East Windsor while he and his team and my team were participating in playoffs. We did not play against one another but, we did talk briefly after we recognized one another.
Being older than Joey, I believe he always had a great deal of respect for me, which
in turn always humbled me.
Rest in peace Joey, our paths may cross again and I hope it is on a pool table.

Our condolences go out to the Palmieri family.
It was sad and stunning to hear of Joey's untimely passing. He was one of my first friends as a youth. His contagious smile and friendly disposition are how I will always remember him. Rest in peace Joey

Dear Donna and family, I am so sad to hear of Joey's passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts. It is so hard to lose someone that you love so much. He was always the happiest most friendly guy and everytime that I bumped into him he was just all smiles. My heart is broken for you. I hope that you all will feel good thinking about him everyday. God bless his children. It will be hard for them. Maxine
