William P. Doyle, 92, loving husband of Judith Ann (Gosha) Doyle, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones.
William (Bill) was born in Bothell, Washington, February 15, 1932, a son of the late James W. Doyle and Lillian (Kime) Doyle. Bill retired in 1996 as Vice President of Texaco, after working there for 37 years.
Bill lived in various locations including London, England for 10 years, Williamsburg, Virginia for 18 years, and most recently resided in Berlin, Connecticut with his daughter Nora and wife Judy. He was an active parishioner of St. Paul Church in Kensington, Connecticut and previously with St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and was a sports car driver participating in several rally events in the 1960s. Bill was actively involved with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and was a generous donor for numerous Catholic charities.
In addition to his wife Judith, he is survived by his children, Nora McRoberts, Paul Doyle and his wife Nathalie Laurent, and Loren J. Doyle; his grandchildren Lauren E. Nolin and her husband Jeremy, Nick McRoberts and his husband Andrew, Miles A. McRoberts and his wife Kim, Liam Doyle, André Doyle, and Pierre Doyle; his great grandson Everett J. Nolin; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son John M. Doyle; and his brother James Doyle and his wife Freda.
Friends and family are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, January 18th at 11:30 at St. Paul’s Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington. There will be no public calling hours. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Williamsburg, Virginia.
