Verna M Fiori

Verna M. (Lirot) Fiori, passed away on April 5, 2018.   Born in Meriden on September 12, 1927.  She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Joseph Fiori, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Miller) Lirot. 

Verna, graduated from Meriden High school, worked in retail in Meriden, was a homemaker, raised her family, an avid reader, and was a member of the Women’s Organization of the Kensington Volunteer Fire Dept.  She was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Kensington.

Verna is survived by a daughter:  Andrea Fiori Brandl of Berlin, one sister:  Patricia (George) Miller of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her Parents and Husband, she was pre-deceased by her son-in-law:  Alan Brandl. 

The family would like to thank the caring staff of Apple Rehab in Cromwell. 

Everyone is invited to go directly to St. Paul Church, 485 Alling Street, Kensington for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. 

Burial in Maple Cemetery in Berlin will follow.
