Robin G. (Drzymalski) Black, 61, of Berlin passed away suddenly on Monday (February 27, 2023). Ms. Black was born July 28, 1961 in New Britain, CT.
Ms. Black was employed at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington as Supervisor of Interventional Radiology. She was also an equestrian throughout her life and an avid gardener. Her family will always remember her high-spirited love of life and her ability to always find the humor.
Robin was a devoted, loving mother to her daughters Charlotte R. Black of Niantic, CT and Isabella R. Black of Berlin, CT, and her son-in-law Andrew Ardolino of Niantic, CT.
Robin’s grandsons, Henry and Graham were the loves of her life.
She will be greatly missed by David DeVona, also of Berlin, her loving fiancé.
The youngest of 9 siblings, Robin was a sister to Paul Breiding of Hebron, CT. Christine Carpenter of Fort Collins, CO. Laurie Mallma of Berlin, CT. And Bruce Drzymalski of Madison, NC.
Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Berlin, CT, is in charge of arrangements. There will be a memorial on March 7, 2023 from 10:30-11:30am.
A Celebration of Life will be announced by family and friends at a later date.
