Robert A. D’Errico, 64 years old, resident of Kensington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 after a short illness.

Robert received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of New England and a Master of Science degree from Central Connecticut State University. He was employed as an Education Consultant-Fiscal Administrator with the State of Connecticut until his retirement in 2003.

He is survived by his immediate family, James J. D’Errico, Judy D’Errico, Jeanette D’Errico, Jennifer (D’Errico) and Robert Eustace, Kayla and Zoe Eustace and Steven and Tyler Stuart.

He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife MaryAnn (Rossi) D’Errico, his mother Josephine (Notaro) D’Errico, his brother James M. D’Errico and a cousin Therese (Stuart) Atkins.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors on 6-1 at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center for their extraordinary compassionate care and a very special thank you to Ernie and Diane Sachetti for their visits and support.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday August 10, 2013 at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home from 8:30 – 9:30a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. St. Paul Church Alling Street Kensington.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery New Britain.
