Richard F. Kleinschmidt, 77,of Newington, loving husband of Linda (Pfister) Kleinschmidt, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Richard was born in New Britain, December 2, 1946, a son of the late Otto F. Kleinschmidt and Elsie M. Wiknik. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and had been employed as an electrician with IBEW Local 35 in Hartford.
In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his brother William (Nancy Ann) Kleinschmidt of Haddam; his sisters Joan (Cal) Bernard and Karen Kleinschmidt all of Kensington; his sister-in-law Joyce Pfister of Newington; several nieces; and nephews.
