Olga (Sumyk) McGuiness

Olga (Sumyk) McGuiness, 93, of Farmington, formerly of Kensington, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Anthology of Farmington.  She was the loving wife of the late George K. McGuiness. Olga was born in Brazil, January 16, 1931, a daughter of the late Roman Sumyk and Marianna (Hausner) Sumyk and had been a Kensington resident for many years.  Olga was employed by the State of Connecticut until her retirement and was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Kensington. She is survived by her sister-in-law Elizabeth Zmijewski; her cousin Page Domanski; several nieces; and nephews including John Zmijewski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside prayer service, Friday, December 6, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the State of CT.
