Nicolas Cora-Lugo, 79, of Meriden, Ct., passed into eternal rest on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Born in Guayama, P.R., he was the son of Domingo Cora and Eulalia Lugo.

He settled in Hartford in 1965 and was employed by Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford until his retirement. He was a proud Korean War Veteran and a loving father and grandfather.

He is pre-deceased by his loving wife, Carmen, and is survived by his children Pedro L. Rentas and his wife Ivelisse of Meriden; Evelyn A. Bunnell and her husband Paul of Bristol; Angel M. Rentas and his wife Rosa of Meriden; Lissette Rodriguez and her husband Candido of Vernon; Luis Cora and his wife Lydia of Hartford; eight grandchildren, Adam, Alec, Coralyn, Jessica, Candido, Jr., Evelyn, Luis, Jr. and Emily; two great grandchildren Lizmarie and Kenny. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, nieces and nephews and grandchildren residing in Puerto Rico.

Burial with military honors will be held at Connecticut Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT., on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 11:00am.
