Margaret M (Dnowski) Ottman

Margaret Ottman "Grandma Meg", 68, passed away peacefully with her son by her side on December 29th, 2021 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Ottman until his passing in 2014 and a devoted mother to her son Scott Ottman. 

She was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 31st 1953. Margaret had an infectious personality and a heart of gold. Her sarcasm and inspirational talks will live on with her memory. Margaret was a hard worker and enjoyed being a part of the Deli Department for Stop and Shop in Berlin, CT.  Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, working on sewing projects, spending time with her pets and going to the casino with her son. 

She is survived by her only son Scott Ottman, her Daughter-in-law Ashley Ottman, Grandson Connor Ottman and Granddaughter Mia Wilson who reside in CT. Her brothers Arthur Donowski, Thomas Donowski and her sister Patricia Donowski reside in New York.  She is also survived by a large extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Kathy Bellafiore in 2019.

There will be a private burial at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT on January 14th, 2022.
