Lucy Palmieri Nelson 77, of Kensington passed away Saturday, March 3,2013 at Ledgecrest Convalescent Home with her loving family by her side.

Lucy was the daughter of the late  Paul and Jennie Cianci and she was the widow of George Nelson.

She had been employed by the Sherri Cup Mfg. Co. as a Packer. She was a member of Saint Paul Church.

Lucille is survived by five children, Vivian Lamb of Meriden, Joanne Palmieri of Newington, Joseph Palmieri of Kensington, Donna Nase of Florida and Lucille Palmere of Newington; one sister Mary D’Amato of Southington; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Kensington.

Friends and family are asked to go directly to Saint Paul Church on Thursday, March 7, 2013 for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial.

Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in New Britain.
