Lori Ellen Zipadelli (Moskowitz) passed away peacefully at home with her loving family, Thursday, September 18th, 2025. Born on August 21, 1954, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the beloved daughter and best friend of Blanche and the late Stanley Moskowitz. The family moved to Enfield, CT, in 1960 and then to Newington in 1968, where Lori formed lasting memories and friendships."
Lori will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and loving heart. She worked at Bank of America in Hartford, CT, where she was known for giving sandwiches to those in need. Lori loved wearing pretty dresses and jewelry, always bringing warmth and joy to those around her. Her sweet nature will live on in the memories of everyone who knew her.
Lori’s loss is mourned by her husband, Robert, and her step son, Jon and his fiancée Ashley Egan ; Lori’s mother, Blanche; her sister, Debbie Cirigliano and husband Joseph; her niece, Jaime Botticello and husband Christopher; her nephews, Joseph Cirigliano whom she adored (partner Scott Ferranti) and great nephew Jordan Cirigliano; and extended family in Florida and Texas. Lori and Blanche’s special friend Barbara Chmielecki, from South Carolina , also special thanks to the caregivers from Golden Aged Homecare, Ester Davis and Neisha Fordes.
Friends and family may call at the Berlin Memorial funeral home 96 Main St., Kensington Monday, September 29 from 5 PM – 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday September 30th 10:30 AM with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating. Committal prayers and final resting place will follow at Maple Cemetery on Worthington Ridge in Berlin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Sinai in Newington or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Lori’s love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
