Lawrence P. Laderoute, husband of Dianna (Picard) Laderoute, of Kensington, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late Alfred and Rita (Benjella) Laderoute.
Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Lawrence was General Manager at Lewtan Industries in Hartford, and he was also a Security Guard for Executive Security in New Britain. Lawrence loved helping people, landscaping and traveling with his family and friends.
Besides his wife Dianna he is survived by two children, Kristin (Kris) Steeber, and Larry Laderoute both of Ohio, a granddaughter, the light of his life, Allison Rose Steeber, seven sisters and five brothers Mary Ellen (Steve) Cox, Rita (Michael) Casarella, Alfred Laderoute, Charles (Diane) Laderoute, Patricia (Kevin) Conlan, Linda Tentoni, Susan Laderoute, John Laderoute, Marshall Laderoute, Michele (Jim) Pekoske, Mark (Desiree’) Laderoute and Renee’ (David) Sego, his Mother and Father-in-law Edmund and Arline Picard, sister-in-law Linda (James) Ripolone, Brother-in-law Edmund (Cheryl) Picard, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his wonderful companion “Precious”.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Paul M. Laderoute.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday July 11, 2014 at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home 96 Main Street Kensington from 4 – 7 p.m.
Funeral service for Lawrence will be held on Saturday July 12, 2014 9:00 a.m. till time of service at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin.
