She was an inspiration and friend to so many people they are impossible to mention. She was known as "Auntie June" and "Grandma June", to so very many.
June was born in Preque Isle, Maine on March 23, 1942, but resided in Kensington for the last 48 years. She was an amazing wife, mother, aunt , sister and friend. She was a wonderful hostess, cook and a truly beautiful person with a huge heart. She loved to travel with her family and had taken over 50 cruises. She was always ready for the next adventure, and life without her will never be the same. June loved children and always said "your life is complete if you leave this world knowing you made a difference in the life of a child". June not only accomplished this with her own children but with many others as well. She loved people and was always willing to lend an ear, give a hand, or participate in whatever arose. She was a fun person with a very kind heart. She could be outspoken at times but always kept others best interests at heart. She worked hard all of her life. She was a valued office manager and bookkeeper for several machining business in the area. For the last 14 years, she continued to do bookkeeping for her family's business Newington Auto Parts even after retiring. She was a wiz with finances and budgets and one of the first people many would turn to when needing advice. She was very loved and will be deeply missed.
