Judith Ann (Gosha) Doyle

Judith Ann (Gosha) Doyle, 91, loving wife of the late William P. Doyle passed away peacefully, Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain.

Judith was born in Mobridge, South Dakota, June 25, 1934, a daughter of the late William Gosha and Elizabeth (King) Gosha.

Judith lived in various locations including London, England for 10 years, Williamsburg, Virginia for 18 years, and most recently resided in Berlin, Connecticut with her daughter Nora and her late husband, Bill. She was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Kensington, Connecticut and previously with St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, Virginia.  Judith was a lover of animals, especially dogs.  She sponsored the training of a series of seeing-eye dog candidates, volunteered at the James City Animal Shelter where she also adopted an older dog. Judith also enjoyed cooking and needlepointing.  Judith and Bill were involved with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Williamsburg Music Society while they lived in Virginia.  Judith was also president of the Petroleum Wives Club, an ex-pat oil industry employee group, while living in England.

Judith is survived by her children, Nora McRoberts and her husband David Kirk, Paul Doyle and his wife Nathalie Laurent, and Loren J. Doyle; her grandchildren Lauren E. Nolin and her husband Jeremy, Nick McRoberts and his husband Andrew, Miles A. McRoberts and his wife Kim, Liam Doyle, André Doyle, and Pierre Doyle; her great grandson Everett J. Nolin; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son John M. Doyle.

Friends and family are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Paul’s Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington. There will be no public calling hours. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Williamsburg, Virginia.
