Joseph Roger Jacques, 93 passed away at his home, Thursday, April 4, 2013 with his loving family by his side.

Joseph was the husband of the late Olive R. (Getchel ) Jacques and the  son of the late Alfred and Delinja (Beaulieu) Jacques. He retired in 1982 from Fafnirs after 40 years as an office worker. He was a member of St. Paul Church and a member of the Moose Club.  He enjoyed his garden, yodeling, steamers, Red Sox’s and family gatherings.
 

He is survived by six children, three daughters Margaret Davis of East Berlin, Jacqueline Gorn and her husband Scott of New Britain, Barbara Haught and her husband Robert of Kensington; three sons Raymond, Robert and Roland Jacques of Bristol, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Joseph was predeceased by two sons Richard Jacques and Joseph Roger Jacques Jr., his son-in-law Calvin Davis and Daughter-in-law Paula Jacques. 

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday April 6, 2013 from 9am till time of service 11:45 a.m. at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home 96 Main Street Kensington. 
 

The family would like to thank Hospice and the VNA of Southington.

Burial will be in Wilcox Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
