Joann (Lewicki) Kavarsky

With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Joann Lewicki Kavarsky, 49, of Berlin, on May 27, 2021. She was born in New Britain, the beloved daughter of Romuald and Jadwiga (Sawicki) Lewicki. She was a nurse at Apple Health Care for 15 years. Joann enjoyed spending time with her two treasured daughters, Jamie Lynn, and Alexa Kavarsky. She was known for her astonishing beauty as well as her courageous mindset. She touched the lives of so many and will be missed beyond belief. She is survived by her cherished husband of 26 years, Keith Kavarsky, her two daughters Jamie Lynn and Alexa Kavarsky, her two loving sisters and their husbands Elizabeth and Joel Dovitski, and Irene and Craig Desmarais along with five precious nieces and a nephew, Emily Dovitski, Hannah Dovitski, Derek Desmarais, Taylor Desmarais and Ava Desmarais. She was pre-deceased by her father Romuald Lewicki and brother Richard Lewicki. Per the families wishes, funeral services will be held privately by Berlin Memorial Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian Burial at Saint Paul’s church in Kensington, and with that, we ask you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
