Jean C. Slapski, 88 of Southington passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.

Born in New Britain she was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Margaret (Bonczak) Truszkowski.

Jean had been employed by Skinner Industries as an inspector. She was a member of St. Dominic Church in Southington, she loved to laugh, loved her neighbors and was a good mom.

She is survived by three children, a son Frank Slapski of Southington, two daughters Margaret Moreau of Waterbury and Jean R. Slapski of Florida; two grandchildren Melissa S. Symous and Melanie Zimyeski.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday April 8, 2013 8:15 a.m. till 9:15 a.m. at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home 96 Main Street Kensington followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Dominic Church 10:00a.m. in Southington.  Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington.
