Elaine R. (Griffith) Talbot, 85, of Southington, unexpectedly entered eternal rest in the comfort of her home, Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was the loving wife of Alfred Talbot.
Elaine was born in New Britain, October 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Burton A. Griffith and Anna C. (Slahtosky) Griffith. Elaine was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Church in Kensington.
In addition to her husband Alfred, she is survived by her 3 children Suzanne Wilcox and her husband Alden, Sandra Talbot and her husband Jeffrey Haddock, Kenneth Talbot and his wife Kristine; her grandchildren Daniel Wilcox, Jessika Meyer, Paula Rodgers and her husband James, Jeffrey Sepko and his wife Kylie, Matthew Sepko and his wife Lauren, Kayleigh Talbot, Nicolas Talbot and Kaiah Talbot; 10 great grandchildren; her brother Thomas Griffith and his wife Pamela; her brother-in-law William Johnson; many nieces; and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert Griffith, and James Griffith, and her sisters Kathleen McCullum and Marjorie Johnson.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours, Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, May 30th at 10 a.m. in St. Paul’s Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Interment will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin.
