Bernadeta Krzeszowiec devoted wife, mother, daughter & sister went peacefully to the Lord on March 10, 2014 surrounded by family and friends.  Born in Poland on January 1, 1943, daughter of the late Victor & Karolina Chmielewski, beloved wife of Ryszard Krzeszowiec, surviving sister Franciska Nizunska, and dedicated mother of David Krzeszowiec of Berlin, CT of which they shared an amazing bond together.  She also leaves future daughter-in-law, Nicole Cooper and grandson Ethan Cooper in addition to many family members & friends whose lives she touched along her path of life. 

Bernadeta spent her days contently walking dog "Bella" at the park enjoying the warmth of the sunshine as it touched her face and heart.  She was truly a woman of faith and took pride in her impeccable ability to work in garden always commenting that you can never have enough flowers.  She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family with an incredible heart of gold.   She was strong and courageous battling cancer for over 14 years.  Placing her thoughts mainly on others, she always kept a positive spirit.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 96 Main St., Kensington, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church 66 Cottage St., East Berlin, CT.  Burial to follow immediately after at Maple Cemetery in Berlin, CT.
