Ann (Luby) Valitsky, 87, of Berlin, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Cromwell. She was the wife of the late Joseph Valitsky.
Ann was born in New Britain, August 29, 1937, a daughter of the late John Luby and Margaret (McGrath) Luby. She was employed by the Town of West Hartford as a Police Dispatcher until her retirement and was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Kensington. Ann will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother.
She is survived by her two daughters Nancy D’Amico, and Beth (Joseph) Turner; her son-in-law Stephen Schoech; her grandchildren Jill (Shawn) Watrous, Kevin Soucie, Ryan (Julie) Turner, Eric (Danielle) Davis, Gregory Turner (Andrew), Steven Davis; 9 great grandchildren; her sister Sr. Margaret Luby, RSM; her brother Thomas (Joan) Luby; several nieces; and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters Carolyn D’Amico and Andrea Schoech; and her sister Kathleen Gray.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Paul Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington. There will be no calling hours. A private inurnment will be held in the mausoleum at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
