Alina (Kozyra) Jalbrzykowski

Alina (Kozyra) Jalbrzykowski, 73, a longtime resident of New Britain, passed away on Monday December 26, 2022, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Alina was born in Wyszmontow, Poland on April 10, 1949, and emigrated to the United States around the age of 19. Alina was the seventh of nine children to her father Stanislaw Kozyra and mother Matylda Topolska. Once in the United States, Alina met her husband Stanislaw and they were married in 1969. They were together until his passing in 2009. Alina is survived by her two children, a son Henry Jalbrzykowski of New Britain; a daughter Dorothy Jalbrzykowski Olson and her husband Donald of Glastonbury; and three grandchildren; as well as other family members both here and in Poland. Alina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. The Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Kensington has care of the arrangements. A quiet graveside service and burial will be held with the family at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, New Britain.
