Alfred J. Tee

Alfred J. Tee, 97, of Kensington, passed away, Saturday, September 20, 2025, after a long illness.

Al was born in Berlin, April 7, 1928, the son of the late Isaac Tee and Rita (Paganetti) Tee and had been a Berlin resident for many years until moving to West Hartford in 1990 and Farmington in 2005.  He attended schools in Berlin and was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Tech in 1947. Al later received an Associate’s Degree from Hillary College, now known as the University of Hartford.  Al retired from the State of CT. Motor Vehicle Department in 1993 and was a member of Chapter 411 of the State Employees Retirement Association.  He was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Kensington and St. Patrick Church in Farmington.  Al was active in the Berlin Basketball League and was record keeper for the Berlin Softball League.  He was a past Grand Knight and faithful navigator as a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Al was predeceased by his sister Ines Tee in 2015.

Friends are invited to attend a calling hour at Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington, Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.  A prayer service will follow at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. www.BERLINMEMORIALFUNERALHOME.com
