Tammie J. Landry Hale, 55, of West Hartford, formerly of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on December 26, 2018. She is survived by her loving wife Denise Hale, her son, Michael Jacob Mannino, her grandson, Jacob Cade Mannino, and her loyal companion, Sophie. She was the daughter of the late O.T. and Ann (Barber) Landry and was preceded in death by her sister and brother, Dot and Mike, and is survived by her sisters, Sissy and Pat, and her Brothers Pudgy and Steve. She is mourned by a large loving family and an abundance of friends from both the north and south.
Tammie was a classically-trained vocalist and a successful French Quarter torch singer in New Orleans. She was trained as a paralegal and brought her time and talent to Access Healthcare Connecticut in Hartford. She was extremely warm, loving, kind, and shared those gifts freely with everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at the Kensington Congregational Church located at 312 Percival Avenue, Kensington, CT 06037. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. The family would like to thank The Harry and Helen Gray Cancer Center, Timothy Hong, M.D., and the oncology team for their loving care and compassion.
