Jean Lorraine Venturo, a lifelong resident of Kensington died March 20, 2017 at St. Mary Home, West Hartford. Jean was born September 8, 1928 to the late Charles and Sabina Venturo. She is survived by her only sister, Sister Marie Venturo of the Sisters of Mercy, West Hartford.

After graduating from Berlin High School, Jean became a Telephone Operator and Supervisor at the Southern New England telephone Company where she worked for over forty years.

Jean enjoyed decorating her home for various holidays and entertaining her sister, Marie and many other Sisters of Mercy.

She looked forward to traveling especially to Island resorts.
