Candace Leeann Zipadelli, 54, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Born in Hartford on February 26, 1964, daughter of Robert J. Zipadelli and Carol Riskus, Besides her parents, Candace is survived by a brother: Jon Zipadelli of New Britain, a sister, Beth Morra a niece, Hannah and a nephew, Anthony, all of Florida. She is also survived by her father’s wife, Lori Zipadelli. Candace was predeceased by her paternal grandparents: John and Sophie (Vinci) Zipadelli and her maternal grandparents: William and Doris (Gauthier) Riskus.
Candace grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. Went to Junior College there for two years. She involved herself with various partnerships out West. She was co-founder and CEO of Commodity Hedgers Inc. in Ashville, North Carolina. She established and later sold land development with her partner Brent. Candace along with her doctor friend and partner Jessie Stoff wrote a book titled “Intestinal Warfare”. At one point Candace bought a limousine and had it on the road for two years. She toyed with a radio talk show, for which she was a natural. She loved her Connecticut relatives and was loved unconditionally in return.

A funeral for Candace will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 9:00 AM from the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington and at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul’s Church. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin.
