Marcus W. Spalter

Marcus W. Spalter, 72, of New Britain, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation in East Hartford.

Marcus was born in Schorndorf, Germany, May 15, 1951, a son of the late Samuel Spalter and Helene C. (Steiner) Spalter. Marcus was a resident of New Britain and was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a Supervisor until his retirement.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed nature.  He was a history enthusiast, who loved to read and watch documentaries.

He was full of knowledge and always had a story to tell. He will be missed dearly by his family.

He is survived by his brother Hans Spalter and his wife Linda of Florida; and his sister Rebecca Spalter of New Britain; several nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother Eric Peter Spalter.
