Pauline K. Baccaro, 84, of Kensington, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017.  She was the wife of the late Peter Baccaro.  Born in West Rutland, VT, Pauline was the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Labuda) Kempisti and was a resident of Kensington for most of her life.

Pauline was retired from the American Savings Bank in New Britain and volunteered at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, Southington campus, for many years.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren great-grandchildren and special friends.  Pauline also enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, movies, puzzle making and listening and dancing to polka music and was a member of St. Paul Church in Kensington.

Pauline is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law:  Karen Ann and Brian Kinney of Bristol and Nancy J. and Thomas Drain of Kensington; a son and daughter-in-law:  Joseph and Patricia Baccaro of Higganum; one sister:  Bernice Orzell of Vermont, 6 grandchildren:  Matthew and his wife Jaclyn Kinney, Kaitlynn Kinney, Paige, Catherine and Nicholas Baccaro and Shawn Drain, 2 great-grandchildren:  Aiden and Chase Kinney and many nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by 3 sisters.

Burial will be private and at the Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
