Josephine (Mute) Vandrilla, 92, of Kensington passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017.  She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Vandrilla. 

 Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela (Felice), Josephine retired from New Britain Machine as a Payroll Clerk.  She was a charter member of the Spanish American Club in New Britain, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, St. Paul Rosary Makers, The Red Hat Society and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in East Berlin.

Josephine is survived by two sons:  Steven and his wife Suzanne of Oklahoma and David and his wife Kathleen of Kensington, four grandchildren: Kristian, Kimberly, David Joseph (DJ) and Katie, two great grandchildren; Taylor and Sammy a brother: Salvatore Mute of Bristol.  She was predeceased by a brother Frank Mute.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at St. Paul Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington.  Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Friends and family are invited to call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home 96 Main Street, Kensington, on Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. till 9:30 a.m.
