Joseph Peter Turner, 86, of New Britain passed away on Friday November 13, at the Veterans Home in Rocky Hill.  Born in Hartford he was the son of John and Anna Bastek and the husband of the late Ann Turner.

Joseph was a paratrooper in the Army.  He retired from Fafnir’s.  He was a tool and die maker.

He is survived by a daughter, Gloria Fabale and her husband John, a grandson, Robert Balko and his wife, Amy Balko and great granddaughters Olivia and Abigail Balko. 

He will be missed and loved by all that knew him.  Mr. Turner loved his pets, his garden and summer’s in Rhode Island.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday November 19, 2015 from 9:15 – 10:15 A.M. at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home 96 Main Street, Kensington.  Burial with military honors will follow at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
