Joanne K. Cieniewicz, 72, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain following a brief illness.

Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Anna (Kata) Cieniewicz, Joanne was a life-long resident of Berlin, assisting in the operation of

the family farm - Lower Lane Dairy.  She loved to grow flowers and take care of her flower beds.  She also loved animals and donated to many animal organizations.

Joanne is survived by 3 brothers:  David P. Cieniewicz and Richard J. Cieniewicz, both of Berlin and Robert J. Cieniewicz and his wife, Karen of Southington.

Friends may call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 8:30 – 9:30 A.
