David Anthony Dalfino, 68, of Berlin, husband of Susan (Gay) Dalfino, passed away suddenly, Thursday, May 19, 2016.
Born in New Britain, June 22, 1947, a son of the late Vito and Sylvia (Busnardo) Dalfino, David was a graduate of Berlin High School, class of 65, and a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He retired from the Town of Berlin as a school custodian after 40 years of service. David enjoyed fishing, playing cards and trips to the casinos. He also enjoyed playing Bocce and was a member of the IPIC in Kensington. His grandchildren were the light of his life.
Besides his beloved wife, Susan, he is survived by 2 daughters: Michelle Maguda and her husband, David of Vernon, Holly Fusco and her husband, Frank of Berlin, 4 grandchildren: Ryan Sparks, Matt Maguda, Sebastian Fusco and Carmelina Fusco and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother: Richard (Snooky) Dalfino.
Friends and relatives may call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington on Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial for David will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul Church, 467 Alling St., Kensington. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Interment will be private.
