Arline (St. Jean) Picard of Kensington passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on June 7, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Edmund Picard for 67 years.
Born in Grand Isle, Maine August 14, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Bertha (Mazzerolle) St. Jean.
She retired from Black and Decker (Landers) (G.E.) where she worked in the Inventory Control Department. She enjoyed taking senior trips with her husband to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, AARP, Berlin Seniors, St. Paul Ladies Guild and the Senior Berlin and Plainville Bowling Leagues, and was a member of St. Paul Church in Kensington.
Besides her husband, Arline is survived by her three children Arlinda Ripolone and her husband James of Texas, Dianna Laderoute of Kensington and Edmund Picard and his wife Cheryl of Naugatuck. Four grandchildren Tina, Karl, Michael and Alicia; seven great-grandchildren Autumn, Noelle, Emilie, Corry, Breanna, Karlie and Allison; and three sisters Theresa Theriault of Newington, Simone and Florence Roy of Bristol.
She was predeceased by two brothers Francis and Ned St. Jean, her sister Wilfreda St. Jean, and her son-in-law Lawrence Laderoute.
Friends and family may call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home at 96 Main Street, Kensington on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 3 – 6 P.M.
A funeral service will held on Monday, June 13, 2016 9:00 A.M. at the Berlin Memorial funeral home 96 Main Street Kensington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul Church Kensington. Burial will follow at Wilcox Cemetery in East Berlin.
