Angel Lauria, 91, of Kensington, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Argentina, May 29, 1925, a son of the late Thomas and Margarita (Tordable) Lauria, and the beloved husband of Maria (Fernandez) Lauria.

He retired from Emhart Corp. as an Assembler and was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Kensington. He was an avid soccer fan and his favorite team in Argentina was Racing Club as well as the Seleccion Argentina. He enjoyed working and making different styles of ceramic (it is how he met his wife).

Besides his loving wife, Angel is survived by two daughters: Ingrid Bierwirth and her husband (David) of Kensington and Cindy Lauria-Errico of Kensington, a son: Jeffry Lauria and his wife (Carrie-Lyn) of Kensington, six grandchildren: Gaby and Lilly Bierwirth, Mike and Jennifer Errico, and Austin and Garrett Lauria all of Kensington. He leaves behind family in Argentina. He was predeceased by a grandson William Bierwirth and a son-in-law Mark Errico.

Friends and family may call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington, on Thursday, June 23, 2016, from 6 – 8 P.M. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
